| The Flinders Community Art Show returns in 2026 and will be held over the Melbourne Cup Weekend at the Flinders Civic Hall.
Opening Night is Friday, 30 October with the public exhibition continuing over the weekend until Monday 2 November 2026.
Artists will be able to register to enter works for exhibition and sale from 1 September 2026.
Categories this year are:
- Painting – includes prints, etchings and lithographs
- Photography
- Sculpture and Ceramics
Entry fees are:
$15.00 for small works with the longest side no greater than 33 cm (330 mm) including frame
$25.00 for large works with the longest side no greater than 110 cm (1100mm) including frame
$25.00 for Sculpture and Ceramics
Artists will be able to exhibit one large work AND one small work OR two small works. Sculpture and Ceramics will be by arrangement with the Committee.
The Committee is thrilled to announce the following prizes which will be presented on Opening Night:
- Flinders General Store Prize – $3000
- Charles Kiefel AM Sculpture Prize – $3000
- Flinders Community Association Prize – $1,000
- Hugh Gallery Prize – $1000
- Marshall White Prize – $500
- Save Flinders Pier – Trent Williams Memorial Prize – $500
Discussions are continuing with additional prize donors and new prizes will be announced in the coming months.
