Jill Williams Studio Visit

The Flinders Art Show Committee would like to  sincerely thank and congratulate Flinders textile artist, Jill Williams on the success of her exhibition and open studio on Friday 21 November.

The exhibition was well attended and was a wonderful experience for Jill and her husband Harry as well as for the delighted purchasers of her textile artworks and Modigliani felt series. There were lots of happy smiles all round!

Jill and Harry will donate $2,000.00 from the $4,000 of sales to the Rosebud Primary Breakfast Program. There were additional private donations of $245.00 so the total for Rosebud Primary is $2,245.00.

And, as it turns out, Trudy Baker from the Little Alpaca shop next to the Pharmacy in Cook Street, Flinders, has offered a wall in her shop for the display of some of the unsold artworks while it is a pop-up shop over summer – Trudy has set up in a  new location across the road in Cook Street.
