Flinders Community Art Show a Resounding Success!

WONDERFUL WEEKEND OF ART

The Flinders Art Show Committee sincerely thanks everyone who contributed to the remarkable success of this year’s Flinders Art Show  – appreciation goes out to the talented Peninsula artists, our 70+ team of volunteers, generous sponsors and donors and the art enthusiasts who attended the exhibition and purchased artworks.

The art show was a lively celebration of creativity after a four-year hiatus and over 120 artworks, sculptures and ceramics were sold.

Over $40,000 was raised, generated from sales of the artworks, ticket sales, raffle proceeds and generous donations. These funds will support several local initiatives including Western Port Community Support, Southern Peninsula Community Support, Food for All, the Flinders CFA and others.

We look forward to seeing  you at the next Flinders Art Show, where art, culture, and community beautifully converge!

While we all emerged as winners with the return of the art show, we would like to acknowledge the special prize winners as selected by MPRG Director, Dunja Rmandic.
